..... how about a $25 coupon? Super easy to win. Just leave a comment on today's blog post letting us know what's your "go-to" technique, tool and/or embellishment right now. We'll have a drawing to pick a winner on Monday.
Right now, i'm into "Color Coordination"! I'm mixing lots of DIFFERENT colors which i thought it wouldn't match, but getting ideas from somebody's t-shirts, etc. whom i saw in the cafe, restaurant, etc. yes, i'm doing lots of "observing colors" on People's clothes in public lately! LOL :-)
I've been using a technique often taught in elementary school--the collage. This technique allows me to use a lot of pictures that would normally get left in the storage box. I primarily use pictures, but stickers and other embellishments can also be used.
I just got a Cricut and I am trying to learn to use it, so that would be my "technique" for right now. Other than that I am tyring to expand my horizons by trying a new techinique every week!
My favorite thing is to layer different patterned papers when making my LOs and cards! I love the look of this! Besides this, I'm finding myself doing a lot more stamping, especially on my cards.
I have just started using stamps and I love them! You can do so many different things with them! I have also been experimenting with more complicated layouts.
I just love the corner punches and border punches from Martha Stewart and EK Sucess. I keep going back to them over and over everyday. Makes your pages look great!
I'm right now working on card kits which I love. The kits have all the materials. They use layering of papers, chipboard, rub-ons and you have to do some drawing of lines and dashes. I learn to do different layouts.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a $25.00 gift certificate! I posted this in the wrong place the first time, sorry for the repeat for those that read it already on the other blog.
My most recent projects involve my new cricut expressions. I love it! I use the cricut to make 3D stickers and embellishments with the Sure Cuts Alot program. Cricut Studio can do this too, I just like having access to all my computer fonts and svg files. I can now create anything I need for my scrapbook pages and the best part is they can be any size to fit my scrapbook page. It has also given me great ideas for making Christmas cards for next year and for my boys school projects. It is so easy once you get the knack of sizing them and then putting them together! Maybe other users have already been doing this for some time, but I thought I'd mention it as it is a thrill to me!
My "go-to" technique is using my Cuttlebug embossing machine as a quick and easy card maker for those last minute birthday, thank you, sympathy cards, etc. Thanks.
I've been using my Cricut a lot lately, mainly for card making but also for some general crafts. I've been having fun using it to outline with markers.
I am just starting out, so don't have any 'go to' favorites. I am 'collecting' a lot of items so I can try everything! :) Thanks for the drawing and a chance to enlarge my collection.
I love my chalks and inks. I have even broke out my "old school" scissors to just get a new refreshing look around things. If I am in a huge hurry, I will double or triple matte my pics and add a single piece of ribbon with a staple. Simple but chic!
My favorite is using stamps and making my own embellishments, especially flowers. They make my card just look more personalize. thank you for this opportunity to win, just need a little help in buying more stamps for my collection.
My go-to right now are distress inks and mists either premade or made with distress reinkers. I love to watercolor using the mists and reinkers - all the time - its an addication that a $25 gift certificate would help feed - thanks for the chance!!
I love using the Tattered Angles product when every I can. I love the Simmer look is gives your project. How many colors you can mix on one project is increadable. I also love to mix papers. I love a favorite of different companies paper. Beautiful, vintage, or plain paper. you can do so much with paper. I am a paper nut!!
I have been printing vintage images on cotton and using them to make old looking cards. Someone told me I should make them my signature style but I tend to hop from one style to another. I just love to create cards that make me happy.
I never have a signature style..but I love to experiment..but yes, I keep coming back to clean and simple cards..works anyday..anytime..for any occassion..
I am into my punches right now and alot of die cuts. I make alot of cards so I really like layers differeent patterns and finding different patterns that work together.
Right now I am "misting" alot. Love this new technique for cover chip board instead of painting and covering with paper.
